My brother and I are business partners. We are two years apart in age. We have been working together since we were kids. Our first real partnership venture was a car lot that we ran together when we were just in high school. That was in the early 1970s. We have been working together in a family business ever since.
Now he is leaving on mission. He will be gone for three years. He will live in Mexico and be responsible for about 100 young missionaries who will serve under him. He is excited and nervous. He has to leave the familiar life he has here at home and find a new life and new purpose. I am very proud of him and what he is doing. He has my total support. We will continue to run the business while he is away. He is leaving the woods he loves so much because he has a thousand more lives to live.
All of us have to make changes in life. Change is the one thing we can all count on. Nothing stays the same. We can love it or we can hate it. We can embrace the change and make the best of it or we can fight it. Changes are the stuff of life and we can count on it so why not embrace it, love it, welcome it, and enjoy it? Having such an attitude will help you Get Where You’re Goaling.
